Born in Faisalabad, Pakistan, Chahat Mahmood Ali Qawwal is a student of the legendary Ustaad Rahat Fateh Ali Khan, carrying forward the centuries-old legacy of Qawwali with breathtaking skill and devotion. His talent has already garnered international recognition, with the Financial Times (2024) stating, ‘He is 21 years of age and yet sings like the masters.’
Accompanied by his ensemble, Chahat Mahmood Ali’s powerful vocals, intricate melodies, and deep connection to Sufi poetry create an electrifying and immersive experience.
